The Woodside Pony Club (WPC), established in 1977, is a local chapter of the United States Pony Club (USPC). The mission of the USPC is to provide a program for youth that teaches riding, mounted sports and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, moral judgment, leadership and self-confidence.

WPC is a non-profit organization led by a District Commissioner and board, but is run by and dependent on parent participation and volunteers. We offer small group riding instruction throughout the school year for children seven to twenty-one years of age. Each rider provides his/her own mount for all mounted lessons.
