Welcome!

The Woodside Pony Club (WPC), founded in 1977, is a local chapter of the United States Pony Club (USPC). USPC’s mission is to teach young people riding, mounted sports, and horse care while fostering responsibility, sound judgment, leadership, and confidence.

USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers operate within 41 regions, each overseen by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and supporting officers. WPC belongs to the Middle California Region; visit the region’s website for Regional Officer contact information.

WPC is dedicated to developing sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, leadership, a love of learning, and a passion for riding in youth. We are funded entirely through membership dues, fundraising efforts, and the generous support of our benefactors.

As a non-profit organization, WPC is led by a District Commissioner (DC) and board and relies heavily on parent involvement and volunteers. We offer small-group riding instruction throughout the school year for children and young adults ages seven to twenty-five. Riders provide their own mounts for all mounted lessons.

Come ride with us!
